Challenges and opportunities of coastal electrification

Building an electrical infrastructure and a charging infrastructure along our coasts that can charge the boats with sufficient power will be a challenge, we know that, but we also have strong traditions in boating and many new manufacturers of boats that think innovatively and want to take their place in the market. At the boat show in Gothenburg, go:LEIF meets all suppliers and manufacturers, which provides great opportunities to learn and build relationships.

"In April 2024, the first of the chargers invested in within the project will be commissioned and with the experience we are gaining during the work, we look forward to being able to support and help more ports move forward in the transition work," says Peter Berg, project manager for the go:LEIF project.
