More electric outboards in the Mercury range
Marine has launched the Avator 75e and 110e outboards, expanding its range of electric outboards. These new models complement Mercury's existing full line of electric propulsion systems, which already includes the Avator 7.5e, 20e and 35e outboards.
The Avator 75e generates 7500 W, equivalent to approximately 10 horsepower, while the 110e produces 11 000 W, equivalent to approximately 15 horsepower. Both models can be equipped with digital remote controls for boats with console steering, and the 75e also offers a multifunctional tiller handle for added flexibility. A power tilt system allows users to easily adjust the outboard for optimal efficiency or when navigating in shallow water.
The new engines are compatible with the Avator 5400 Power Center, allowing for smooth integration of the batteries. Up to four weatherproof Avator 5400 Wh lithium-ion batteries can be brought along to increase range and runtime on the water. In addition, the Power Center offers a convenient solution for simultaneous charging of multiple batteries. With the portable 520 W charger, it takes approximately 20 hours to charge two discharged batteries, while the more powerful 1050 W charger can halve the charging time.
All Avator models feature an intelligent digital display that monitors speed, range in time or distance, battery status, power output and alerts. The display has a full-color screen optimized to be easy to read regardless of lighting conditions. For the 75e and 110e with remote control, there are two mounting options: flush or pedestal. On the 75e model with tiller, the display is integrated into the outboard for easy and quick access.
