3D printed boats made from recycled plastic

The Dutch shipyard IMPACD Boats produces several types of 3D printed boats using recycled plastic as raw material. The boat is fully recyclable at the end of its life and the material can be used for a new boat.

We need to see a greener boat industry going forward and this requires the development of new construction techniques that generate less CO2.

The IMPACT Boats Eco Yachting program faces a very interesting technology development that offers a real paradigm shift in the nautical industry.

If you buy a boat from IMPACT Boats, you are offered help during a 5-year transition period to move from your old fossil fuel engine to find the right one and switch to an electric engine.

In collaboration with Loop in the Netherlands, a sharing model for boat ownership is also offered where you as a customer share a boat with others but with the feeling of owning your own boat and Custom Boats takes care of everything around, maintenance, service, winter storage etc. The future of boat ownership!
